PH44 packing-tape mark

Humanitarian field missions

Field teams. Open crates. People first.

PH44 sends medical, water, and shelter crews to communities in crisis. The mark on our boxes is a field call sign — taped in a hurry, meant to hold.

Hands sealing a medical crate with packing tape

How the mark started

A flooded schoolyard. The last crate of saline. Tape.

In 2018 a four-person medical team in Léogâne ran out of labels and used packing tape to write PH44 on a crate. The call sign stuck. It now goes on clinic doors, water tanks, and convoy tarps from Turkana to Leyte. We still pack the same way: counted, taped, logged, gone.

How we work

Four rules. No theater.

01

Pack first.

Appeals go out after the crate is on a pallet. If we cannot move it this month, we do not promise it.

02

Local clinicians, our logistics.

We do not replace the people who already know the road. We fill the shelf and the tank.

03

No theater.

No branded tents if a hall is free. No child posed for a camera. Reports are packing lists and outcomes.

04

The tape is the brand.

PH44 is a field call sign. It goes on crates, clinic doors, and convoy tarps. If it does not hold in the rain, it does not go on the site.

Give

A gift is a crate with a destination.

One-time or monthly. General fund or a named desk. We send a packing slip, not a swirl of icons. Sponsors underwrite a season of freight — fuel, pallets, the people who tape the lids.

Next crate

The appeal goes out after the pallet is wrapped.

If you can fund a desk, a pump, or a typhoon cache, we already know where it rides.
